We’re living in a tough economic time that has affected literally everyone in some form or fashion. Many people are discouraged and down-trodden. They’ve lost a job, they’ve lost their house, their family relationships are broken due to the stress and challenges of the day. The need for inner strength and hope is paramount. We need a deep sense of God in the midst of these very difficult days.
I personally lost my job in November, 2009 because my employers were forced to close their doors after I had spent nearly 29 years in my field. It really rocked my world. Yet, as I searched for God’s will in my life I sensed a deep call within my heart to minister through song. I have sung for Him for over 35 years in various venues and now I’m excited to expand my music ministry and share God's Love and my testimony to a broader audience for His glory.
The Gospel means “good news” and it can be shared in a variety of ways. Through Scripture, song and testimony I am answering God's call to share the truth of His infinite love, forgiveness, grace, peace, hope and inner strength. It is my passion to see people truly know in the depths of their souls how indescribably much that they are loved by Jesus Christ, that they can receive forgiveness of their sins and come into right relationship with God through child-like faith in Jesus' death on the cross, that Jesus' resurrection gives them the promise of eternal life, and that they can stay connected to Christ's heart of love throughout their day-to-day lives. This heart-to-heart connection occurs through the conscious effort of stilling our hearts before Him in prayer, listening to His heart, talking to the Heavenly Father, reading the Bible and thinking deeply on His words. As a result, our lives are changed more and more into the image of Jesus and His love reaches through us to the world around us.
Would you allow me the opportunity and to share at your church or event? I love a wide variety of music, and as a result sing Gospel Music from Southern, Country, Bluegrass, Traditional and Contemporary genres. I will tailor my selections to fit your church's tastes.
Besides church settings, I also sing in a variety of other venues, including coffee houses and festive outdoor settings. I have a large repertoire of family-friendly, easy-listening popular songs of different styles and time periods, ranging from Nat King Cole to Country, Amy Grant, Movie Tunes and some light-Christian music as well. Christmas music has warmed my heart my entire life, and I am available to bring Christmas concerts as well.
I am also available to sing The Star Spangled Banner. The youtube video below was taken prior to a Detroit Tigers-Baltimore Orioles Spring Training baseball game in Lakeland, FL in 2011. I was blessed to return to Lakeland to sing again in March, 2012, and have also sung The National Anthem for the Great Lakes Loons.
