We’re living in tough times that have affected literally everyone in some form or fashion. Many people are discouraged and down-trodden. They’ve lost a job, they’ve lost their house, their family relationships are broken due to the stress and challenges of the day. The need for inner strength and hope is paramount.  We need a deep relationship with God in the midst of these very difficult days.

I lost my job in November, 2009 because my employers were forced to close their doors after I had spent nearly 29 years in my field. It really rocked my world. Yet, as I searched for God’s will in my life I sensed a deep call within my heart to minister through song. I have sung for Him for over 40 years in various venues and I’m excited to expand my music ministry and share God's Love and my testimony to a broader audience for His glory.

The Gospel means “good news” and it can be shared in a variety of ways. Through Scripture, song and testimony I am answering God's call to share the truth of His infinite love, forgiveness, grace, peace, hope and inner strength.  It is my passion to see people truly know in the depths of their souls how indescribably much that they are loved by Jesus Christ, that they can receive forgiveness of their sins and come into right relationship with God through child-like faith in Jesus' death on the cross, that Jesus' resurrection gives them the promise of eternal life, and that they can stay connected to Christ's heart of love throughout their day-to-day lives.  This heart-to-heart connection occurs through the conscious effort of stilling our hearts before Him in prayer, listening to His heart, talking to the Heavenly Father, reading the Bible and thinking deeply on His words.  As a result, our lives are changed more and more into the image of Jesus and His love reaches through us to the world around us.

Would you allow me the opportunity and to share at your church or special event? I love a wide variety of music, and as a result sing Gospel Music from Southern, Country, Bluegrass, Traditional and Contemporary genres.  I will tailor my selections to fit your church's tastes.

Besides church settings, I sing at a significant number of Senior Living facilities.  I have a large repertoire of family-friendly, easy-listening popular songs of different styles and time periods, and stir an occasional Gospel song into the mix as well.  I am also available for Christmas and Patriotic concerts, banquets and special occasions.

One of the great highlights of my singing career occurred October 9, 2013 when I was blessed to sing "The Old Rugged Cross" in the church where it was initially sung publicly in January, 1913, now known as The Old Rugged Cross Church in Pokagon, MI.  I have posted the video of this occasion that means so much to me below.  It was "the icing on the cake" to return on November 16, 2014 and sing this grand old hymn as a duet with my father, Carl Hays, and have my brother Dave accompany us on the original organ that played the song in 1913!

It is always a tremendous privilege to sing The Star Spangled Banner.  The youtube video below was taken prior to a Detroit Tigers-Toronto Blue Jays Spring Training baseball game in Lakeland, FL in March, 2013.  I have been blessed to sing The National Anthem for the Tigers in Lakeland in 2011-13, the Great Lakes Loons in 2011-13, the Toledo Mud Hens and University of Michigan baseball in 2013, as well.  I was highly privileged and honored  to sing The National Anthem at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI on Veterans' Day, November 11, 2012.

I also have a passion for public speaking.  I consider it a great privilege to share with others what God has put within my heart for a specific time and place.  The Bible is the foundation of my messages.  I am available for pulpit supply, banquets, retreats and other special occasions.
